A robust and spiced cocktail perfect for chilly, early spring nights around the campfire. This recipe is very universal, and the spices can be adjusted as per preference and taste. The perfect cocktail when an iced variety would add an unwanted chill to the bones. Also experiment with toppings! Cinnamon, cocoa powder, cinnamon sticks...even chopped pecans or walnuts would compliment the bourbon.
Ingredients
1 tbsp. Brown sugar
1/4 stick Soft butter
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1/4 tsp Cloves
1/4 tsp Mace
1/4 tsp Allspice
1 pinch Salt
10-16oz hot milk

3-5 oz. Premium Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Directions
Beat sugar and butter together until thoroughly creamed and fluffy.
Beat in vanilla and spices.
Chill.
For each cup to be served, place 1 & 1/2 teaspoons batter in a preheated mug.
Add 1.5 – 2.5 ounces bourbon to each mug.
Stir well.
Fill rest of way with hot milk and serve.
Recipe Note
Add a cinnamon stick and sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
