Back in the 1800's, the whiskey highball was mixed with plain soda water. How boring! Since the 1920's (the "Gilded Age"), it has been mixed with ginger ale; which perfectly compliments the crisp citrus taste of the lemon. Enjoy this classic cocktail at your next outing - ask for a "Boxergrail Highball."

Ingredients
-
2.5 ounces Boxergrail high-rye whiskey
4 to 6 ounces ginger ale
2 peels (use vegetable peeler) and one slice lemon
Directions
Fill a highball glass with ice
Add Boxergrail high-rye whiskey
Add in lemon peels
Fill glass rest of the way with ginger ale
Garnish rim of glass with lemon slice. Enjoy!
