Rabbit Hole takes a bold approach to flavor by always using a low entry proof for our whiskey. By entering the barrel at a lower proof, more of the natural sugars and complexities from the wood are extracted, resulting in a richer, smoother, and more flavorful whiskey.

This dual treatment unlocks layers of flavor, creating a balance of caramelized sweetness and smoky depth that sets our spirits apart. At Rabbit Hole, quality is paramount, which is why we embrace an extreme small batch process, never harvesting more than 15 barrels at a time. This intentional approach ensures unparalleled precision and consistency, allowing us to focus on the unique character of each barrel.

Strong barrels make the best whiskey. Ours are crafted from new American Oak, then toasted and charred with wood-fired furnaces. Toasting slows the barrel-making process and adds more flavor to the whiskey. A true art form mastered by the Kelvin Cooperage, a Louisville barrel cooperage with its roots in Scotland and its heart in Kentucky’s Bourbon Renaissance.
Like making exceptional whiskey, making a great cigar takes time and patience to achieve the perfect flavor and aroma. We partnered with Diesel Cigars to create the Whiskey Row Series, one-of-a-kind cigars made from tobacco leaves aged in the same barrels we use to make our award-winning bourbons.
Vendome Copper & Brass Works is only blocks from our distillery and makes the finest stills in the world. Naturally, we enlisted them to design a custom 24-inch copper column still that is the center of our operation, a point of pride for us, and for the craftsmen who built it.
