This Cosmopolitan cocktail recipe is light and refreshing. For about a decade, the Cosmopolitan cocktail was the most popular drink in America. Bartenders would make hundreds of them a night. The original Cosmopolitan cocktail was created in the 1980's by a Miami bartender named Cheryl Cook while she was working at a popular South Beach bar called the Strand.
