A masterpiece of creativity and craftsmanship. This release of one of our favorite Distillery Series offerings pairs our Kentucky Straight Rye with Hotel Starlino™ Vermouth casks. The result is a novel and exhilarating sensory experience. Aromas of peppermint, ginger and cinnamon awaken the palate, followed by subtle but intriguing scents of vanilla, rose and a tang of tropical fruit. Each sip brings a complex mix of spices against a backdrop of sweet whiskey and wine flavors, which fade into a warm, nutty finish grounded by hints of oak. A Manhattan in a bottle, we reccomened enjoying neat or on the rocks, garnished with cherries.
Crafted by Torino Distillati, a renowned, family- owned distillery outside of Turin Italy, Hotel Starlino Vermouth is a blend of Marsala and Trebianno wines infused with an array of botanicals, then finished for six months in bourbon barrels. This creates an elegant mix of fresh, sweet notes balanced with a subtle, pleasant bitterness. Our Kentucky Straight Rye absorbs ghosts of these flavors as it rests in Starlino casks, giving the whiskey intriguing new depth and character.

The Distillery Series is an exercise in Rabbit Hole’s commitment to originality and innovation. Each release in this line of distinct and delicious expressions will be a Limited Edition, Small Batch, Cask Strength whiskey offered in 375 mL bottles with the Batch and Bottle number printed on a custom-designed label. Together, this collection of extraordinary spirits will push the boundaries of craft and creativity as it redefines what whiskey can be.
Nose:
On the nose you’ll find notes of ginger, cinnamon, and herbal mint sweetened with vanilla. Stone fruit and dark cherries round out the Vermouth influence.
Taste:
On the palate black pepper, allspice and oak layer with elegant vinous notes, vanilla, citrus fruit, plum and cherries, creating exceptional depth.
Finish:
Clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, tobacco, and notes of oak linger on.
