Warm weather is on the way. Blue skies, warm breezes, the smell of a BBQ - and whiskey cocktails! What better way to keep cool than to sip a refreshing and "spiked" take on a summertime favorite drink! Spring Citrus Whiskey Slushie Cocktail can be enjoyed almost any time of the day, and adds that "get away from it all" vibe in your glass.
Ingredients

7 c. boiling water

1 c. sugar

1 sm. can lime concentrate

2 sm. cans lemonade concentrate

1 sm. can orange juice concentrate

2 c. strong tea (use 4-6 tea bags)

3-4 c. high rye whiskey
Directions
First, mix sugar and boiling water in pot until sugar is completely dissolved.
Next, in a large metal bowl or pot, mix all remaining ingredients.
Place bowl in freezer.
Freeze for about 24 hours.
Fill glass 3/4 full of frozen mix and 1/4 with lemon-lime carbonated soda or flavored water.
Provide a stir stick and enjoy!
*May also garnish with orange slice, lemon wedge and/or drink from a salted-rim glass.
